* configure.ac: Call AC_PROG_MKDIR_P.
* Makefile.in (docs/stamp-vti): Create docs directory.  Create
version.texi in $(builddir) rather than $(srcdir).
(docs/grub.info): Create docs directory.  Prepend $(builddir)/docs
to makeinfo's @include search path.
