ideapad-laptop: Change Lenovo Yoga 2 series rfkill handling
It seems that the same problems which lead to adding an rfkill blacklist and
putting the Lenovo Yoga 2 11 on it are also present on the Lenovo Yoga 2 13

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1021036
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Linux-Discussion/Yoga-2-13-not-Pro-Linux-Warning/m-p/1517612
Testing has shown that the firmware rfkill settings are persistent over
reboots. So blacklisting the driver is not good enough, if the wifi is blocked
at the firmware level the wifi needs to be explictly unblocked through the
ideapad-laptop interface.
And at least on the Lenovo Yoga 2 13 the VPCCMD_RF register which on devices
with hardware kill switch reports the hardware switch state, needs to be
explictly set to 1 (radio enabled / not blocked).
So this patch does 3 things to get proper rfkill handling on these models:
1) Instead of blacklisting the rfkill functionality, which means that people
with a firmware blocked wifi get stuck in that situation, ignore the value
reported by the not present hardware rfkill switch, as this is what is causing
ideapad-laptop to wrongly report all radios as hardware blocks. But do register
the rfkill interfaces so that the user can soft [un]block them.
2) On models without a hardware rfkill switch, explictly set VPCCMD_RF to 1
3) Drop the " 11" postfix from the dmi match string, as the entire Yoga 2
series is affected.

btrfs: disable strict file flushes for renames and truncates
Truncates and renames are often used to replace old versions of a file
with new versions. Applications often expect this to be an atomic
replacement, even if they haven't done anything to make sure the new
version is fully on disk.
Btrfs has strict flushing in place to make sure that renaming over an
old file with a new file will fully flush out the new file before
allowing the transaction commit with the rename to complete.
This ordering means the commit code needs to be able to lock file pages,
and there are a few paths in the filesystem where we will try to end a
transaction with the page lock held. It's rare, but these things can
deadlock.
This patch removes the ordered flushes and switches to a best effort
filemap_flush like ext4 uses. It's not perfect, but it should fix the
deadlocks.

Btrfs: fix csum tree corruption, duplicate and outdated checksums
Under rare circumstances we can end up leaving 2 versions of a checksum
for the same file extent range.
The reason for this is that after calling btrfs_next_leaf we process
slot 0 of the leaf it returns, instead of processing the slot set in
path->slots[0]. Most of the time (by far) path->slots[0] is 0, but after
btrfs_next_leaf() releases the path and before it searches for the next
leaf, another task might cause a split of the next leaf, which migrates
some of its keys to the leaf we were processing before calling
btrfs_next_leaf(). In this case btrfs_next_leaf() returns again the
same leaf but with path->slots[0] having a slot number corresponding
to the first new key it got, that is, a slot number that didn't exist
before calling btrfs_next_leaf(), as the leaf now has more keys than
it had before. So we must really process the returned leaf starting at
path->slots[0] always, as it isn't always 0, and the key at slot 0 can
have an offset much lower than our search offset/bytenr.
For example, consider the following scenario, where we have:
Because we are at the last slot of leaf N, we call btrfs_next_leaf() to
find the next highest key, which releases the current path and then searches
for that next key. However after releasing the path and before finding that
next key, the item at slot 0 of leaf N + 1 gets moved to leaf N, due to a call
to ctree.c:push_leaf_left() (via ctree.c:split_leaf()), and therefore
btrfs_next_leaf() will returns us a path again with leaf N but with the slot
pointing to its new last key (CSUM CSUM 40161280). This new version of leaf N
is then:
In other words, we insert a new csum item in the tree with key
(CSUM_OBJECTID CSUM_KEY 40157184 = sums->bytenr) that contains the checksums
for all the data (4 blocks of 4096 bytes each = sums->len). Which is wrong,
because the item with key (CSUM CSUM 40161280) (the one that was moved from
leaf N + 1 to the end of leaf N) contains the old checksums of the last 12288
bytes of our data and won't get those old checksums removed.
So this leaves us 2 different checksums for 3 4kb blocks of data in the tree,
and breaks the logical rule:
An obvious bad effect of this is that a subsequent csum tree lookup to get
the checksum of any of the blocks with logical offset of 40161280, 40165376
or 40169472 (the last 3 4kb blocks of file data), will get the old checksums.

This indicates a NULL corruption in prefs_delayed list. The further
investigation and bisection pointed that the call of ulist_add_merge()
results in the corruption.
ulist_add_merge() takes u64 as aux and writes a 64bit value into
old_aux. The callers of this function in backref.c, however, pass a
pointer of a pointer to old_aux. That is, the function overwrites
64bit value on 32bit pointer. This caused a NULL in the adjacent
variable, in this case, prefs_delayed.
Here is a quick attempt to band-aid over this: a new function,
ulist_add_merge_ptr() is introduced to pass/store properly a pointer
value instead of u64. There are still ugly void ** cast remaining
in the callers because void ** cannot be taken implicitly. But, it's
safer than explicit cast to u64, anyway.

Btrfs: __btrfs_mod_ref should always use no_quota
Before I extended the no_quota arg to btrfs_dec/inc_ref because I didn't
understand how snapshot delete was using it and assumed that we needed the
quota operations there. With Mark's work this has turned out to be not the
case, we _always_ need to use no_quota for btrfs_dec/inc_ref, so just drop the
argument and make __btrfs_mod_ref call it's process function with no_quota set
always. Thanks,

btrfs: adjust statfs calculations according to raid profiles
This has been discussed in thread:

http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.file-systems.btrfs/32536
Works fine for "clean" raid profiles where the raid factor correction
does the right job. Otherwise it's pessimistic and may show low space
although there's still some left.
The df nubmers are lightly wrong in case of mixed block groups, but this
is not a major usecase and can be addressed later.
The RAID56 numbers are wrong almost the same way as before and will be
addressed separately.

ASoC: Updates for v3.17
This has been a pretty exciting release in terms of the framework, we've
finally got support for multiple CODECs attached to a single DAI link
which has been something there's been interest in as long as I've been
working on ASoC. A big thanks to Benoit and Misael for their work on
this.
Otherwise it's been a fairly standard release for development, including
more componentisation work from Lars-Peter and a good selection of both
CODEC and CPU drivers.
- Support for multiple CODECs attached to a single DAI, enabling
systems with for example multiple DAC/speaker drivers on a single
link, contributed by Benoit Cousson based on work from Misael Lopez
Cruz.
- Support for byte controls larger than 256 bytes based on the use of
TLVs contributed by Omair Mohammed Abdullah.
- More componentisation work from Lars-Peter Clausen.
- The remainder of the conversions of CODEC drivers to params_width()
- Drivers for Cirrus Logic CS4265, Freescale i.MX ASRC blocks, Realtek
RT286 and RT5670, Rockchip RK3xxx I2S controllers and Texas Instruments
TAS2552.
- Lots of updates and fixes, especially to the DaVinci, Intel,
Freescale, Realtek, and rcar drivers.

A bigger batch of changes than I would like as I didn't send any for a

driver specific though, larger changes are:
- Fixes to the newly added Baytrail/MAX98090 which look like some QA
was missed on the microphone detection.
- Deletion of some erroniously listed audio formats for Haswell.
- Fix debugfs creation in the core so that we don't try to generate
multiple directories with the same name, relatively large textually
but simple to inspect by eye and test.
- A couple of bugfixes for the rcar driver one of which which involves
a bit of code motion to move initailisation of some hardware out of
common paths into device specific ones.
- Ensure both channels are powered up for mono outputs on Arizona
devices, involving some simple data tables listing the outputs and a
loop over them.
- A couple of fixes to save and restore information on suspended and
idle Samsung I2S controllers.

tcp: fix ssthresh and undo for consecutive short FRTO episodes
Fix TCP FRTO logic so that it always notices when snd_una advances,
indicating that any RTO after that point will be a new and distinct
loss episode.
Previously there was a very specific sequence that could cause FRTO to
fail to notice a new loss episode had started:
(1) RTO timer fires, enter FRTO and retransmit packet 1 in write queue
(2) receiver ACKs packet 1
(3) FRTO sends 2 more packets
(4) RTO timer fires again (should start a new loss episode)
The problem was in step (3) above, where tcp_process_loss() returned
early (in the spot marked "Step 2.b"), so that it never got to the
logic to clear icsk_retransmits. Thus icsk_retransmits stayed
non-zero. Thus in step (4) tcp_enter_loss() would see the non-zero
icsk_retransmits, decide that this RTO is not a new episode, and
decide not to cut ssthresh and remember the current cwnd and ssthresh
for undo.
There were two main consequences to the bug that we have
observed. First, ssthresh was not decreased in step (4). Second, when
there was a series of such FRTO (1-4) sequences that happened to be
followed by an FRTO undo, we would restore the cwnd and ssthresh from
before the entire series started (instead of the cwnd and ssthresh
from before the most recent RTO). This could result in cwnd and
ssthresh being restored to values much bigger than the proper values.

tcp: don't allow syn packets without timestamps to pass tcp_tw_recycle logic
tcp_tw_recycle heavily relies on tcp timestamps to build a per-host
ordering of incoming connections and teardowns without the need to
hold state on a specific quadruple for TCP_TIMEWAIT_LEN, but only for
the last measured RTO. To do so, we keep the last seen timestamp in a
per-host indexed data structure and verify if the incoming timestamp
in a connection request is strictly greater than the saved one during
last connection teardown. Thus we can verify later on that no old data
packets will be accepted by the new connection.
During moving a socket to time-wait state we already verify if timestamps
where seen on a connection. Only if that was the case we let the
time-wait socket expire after the RTO, otherwise normal TCP_TIMEWAIT_LEN
will be used. But we don't verify this on incoming SYN packets. If a
connection teardown was less than TCP_PAWS_MSL seconds in the past we
cannot guarantee to not accept data packets from an old connection if
no timestamps are present. We should drop this SYN packet. This patch
closes this loophole.
Please note, this patch does not make tcp_tw_recycle in any way more
usable but only adds another safety check:
Sporadic drops of SYN packets because of reordering in the network or
in the socket backlog queues can happen. Users behing NAT trying to
connect to a tcp_tw_recycle enabled server can get caught in blackholes
and their connection requests may regullary get dropped because hosts
behind an address translator don't have synchronized tcp timestamp clocks.
tcp_tw_recycle cannot work if peers don't have tcp timestamps enabled.
In general, use of tcp_tw_recycle is disadvised.

As of 4fddbf5d78 ("sit: strictly restrict incoming traffic to tunnel link device"),
when looking up a tunnel, tunnel's underlying interface (t->parms.link)
is verified to match incoming traffic's ingress device.
However the comparison was incorrectly based on skb->dev->iflink.
Instead, dev->ifindex should be used, which correctly represents the
interface from which the IP stack hands the ipip6 packets.
This allows setting up sit tunnels bound to vlan interfaces (otherwise
incoming ipip6 traffic on the vlan interface was dropped due to
ipip6_tunnel_lookup match failure).

timekeeping: Another fix to the VSYSCALL_OLD update_vsyscall
Benjamin Herrenschmidt pointed out that I further missed modifying
update_vsyscall after the wall_to_mono value was changed to a
timespec64. This causes issues on powerpc32, which expects a 32bit
timespec.
This patch fixes the problem by properly converting from a timespec64 to
a timespec before passing the value on to the arch-specific vsyscall
logic.

this fix on to you directly. ]

drivers/mfd/rtsx_usb.c: export device table
The rtsx_usb driver contains the table for the devices it supports but
doesn't export it. As a result, no alias is generated and it doesn't
get loaded automatically.

mm, hugetlb_cgroup: align hugetlb cgroup limit to hugepage size
Memcg aligns memory.limit_in_bytes to PAGE_SIZE as part of the resource
counter since it makes no sense to allow a partial page to be charged.
As a result of the hugetlb cgroup using the resource counter, it is also
aligned to PAGE_SIZE but makes no sense unless aligned to the size of
the hugepage being limited.
Align hugetlb cgroup limit to hugepage size.

Merge branch 'next' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/benh/powerpc
Pull more powerpc updates from Ben Herrenschmidt:
"Here are some more powerpc bits for 3.17, essentially fixes.
The biggest series, also aimed at -stable, is from Aneesh and is the
result of weeks and weeks of debugging to find out why the heck or THP
implementation was occasionally triggering multi-hit errors in our
level 1 TLB. It ended up being a combination of issues including
subtleties as to how we should invalidate those special 'MPSS' pages
we use to allow the use of 16M pages inside 4K/64K "base page size"
segments (you really have to love our MMU !)
Another interesting one in the "OMG" category is the series from
Michael adding memory barriers to spin_is_locked(). That's also the
result of many days of debugging to figure out why the semaphore code
would occasionally crash in ways that made no sense. It ended up
being some creative lock stacking that was defeated by the fact that
our locks allow a load inside the locked section to be re-ordered with
the load of the lock value itself (I'm still of two mind about whether
to kill that once and for all by putting a heavier barrier back into
our lock implementation...). The fixes come with a long explanation
in the cset comments, feel free to read it if you feel like having a
headache today"
