net: pch_gbe: Remove dead RINGFREE code
The pch_gbe driver includes some code which appears to be an attempt to
work around a problem with the pch_gbe_free_rx_resources &
pch_gbe_free_tx_resources functions that no longer exists. Remove the
code guarded by the never-defined RINGFREE preprocessor macro.

The pch_gbe driver currently presumes that the PHY is connected using
RGMII, and would need further work to support other buses. It includes a
define which is always set that conditionalises some of the
RGMII-specific code regardless. Remove it. If we do ever support
different MII buses then preprocessor defines won't be the best way to
select between them anyway.

net: pch_gbe: Remove pch_gbe_hal_setup_init_funcs
The pch_gbe driver calls a pch_gbe_hal_setup_init_funcs function which
ultimately sets the value of one field in struct pch_gbe_phy_info in a
convoluted way.
This patch removes pch_gbe_hal_setup_init_funcs in favor of inlining it,
and in turn its callee pch_gbe_plat_init_function_pointers, into the
single caller pch_gbe_sw_init.
With this pch_gbe_api.c & pch_gbe_api.h are essentially empty, so they
are removed & inclusions of the latter replaced with pch_gbe_phy.h which
was previously being included via pch_gbe_api.h.

For some reason the pch_gbe driver contains a struct pch_gbe_functions
with pointers used by a HAL abstraction layer, even though there is only
one implementation of each function.
This patch removes the get_bus_info abstraction. Its single
implementation (pch_gbe_plat_get_bus_info) only sets values within a
struct pch_gbe_bus_info which is never used, so we simply remove the
call to it in pch_gbe_probe & remove struct pch_gbe_bus_info entirely.
Now that struct pch_gbe_functions is empty we remove it entirely too.

netns: get more entropy from net_hash_mix()
struct net are effectively allocated from order-1 pages on x86,
with one object per slab, meaning that the 13 low order bits
of their addresses are zero.
Once shifted by L1_CACHE_SHIFT, this leaves 7 zero-bits,
meaning that net_hash_mix() does not help spreading
objects on various hash tables.
For example, TCP listen table has 32 buckets, meaning that
all netns use the same bucket for port 80 or port 443.

net: phy: Allow compile test of GPIO consumers if !GPIOLIB
The GPIO subsystem provides dummy GPIO consumer functions if GPIOLIB is
not enabled. Hence drivers that depend on GPIOLIB, but use GPIO consumer
functionality only, can still be compiled if GPIOLIB is not enabled.
Relax the dependency on GPIOLIB if COMPILE_TEST is enabled, where
appropriate.

r8169: Reinstate ASPM Support
On Intel platforms (Skylake and newer), ASPM support in r8169 is the
last missing puzzle to let CPU's Package C-State reaches PC8. Without
ASPM support, the CPU cannot reach beyond PC3. PC8 can save additional
~3W in comparison with PC3 on a Coffee Lake platform, Dell G3 3779.

r8169: Don't disable ASPM in the driver
Enable or disable ASPM should be done in PCI core instead of in the
device driver.
Commit ba04c7c93bbc ("r8169: disable ASPM") uses
pci_disable_link_state() to disable ASPM, but it's not the best way to
do it. If the device really wants to disable ASPM, we can use a quirk in
PCI core to prevent the PCI core from setting ASPM before probe.
Let's remove pci_disable_link_state() for now. Use PCI core quirks if
any regression happens.

tcp_bbr: fix bbr pacing rate for internal pacing
This commit makes BBR use only the MSS (without any headers) to
calculate pacing rates when internal TCP-layer pacing is used.
This is necessary to achieve the correct pacing behavior in this case,
since tcp_internal_pacing() uses only the payload length to calculate
pacing delays.

tcp: ignore rcv_rtt sample with old ts ecr value
When receiving multiple packets with the same ts ecr value, only try
to compute rcv_rtt sample with the earliest received packet.
This is because the rcv_rtt calculated by later received packets
could possibly include long idle time or other types of delay.
For example:
(1) server sends last packet of reply with TS val V1
(2) client ACKs last packet of reply with TS ecr V1
(3) long idle time passes
(4) client sends next request data packet with TS ecr V1 (again!)
At this time, the rcv_rtt computed on server with TS ecr V1 will be
inflated with the idle time and should get ignored.

Following 7 patches are selections from a recent RFC series I posted
that have all received suitable Acks.
The most visible changes are that rhashtable-types.h is now preferred
for inclusion in include/linux/*.h rather than rhashtable.h, and
that the full hash is used - no bits a reserved for a NULLS pointer.

rhashtable: clean up dereference of ->future_tbl.
Using rht_dereference_bucket() to dereference
->future_tbl looks like a type error, and could be confusing.
Using rht_dereference_rcu() to test a pointer for NULL
adds an unnecessary barrier - rcu_access_pointer() is preferred
for NULL tests when no lock is held.
This uses 3 different ways to access ->future_tbl.
- if we know the mutex is held, use rht_dereference()
- if we don't hold the mutex, and are only testing for NULL,
use rcu_access_pointer()
- otherwise (using RCU protection for true dereference),
use rht_dereference_rcu().
Note that this includes a simplification of the call to
rhashtable_last_table() - we don't do an extra dereference
before the call any more.

Rather than borrowing one of the bucket locks to

rhashtable: simplify nested_table_alloc() and rht_bucket_nested_insert()
Now that we don't use the hash value or shift in nested_table_alloc()
there is room for simplification.
We only need to pass a "is this a leaf" flag to nested_table_alloc(),
and don't need to track as much information in
rht_bucket_nested_insert().
Note there is another minor cleanup in nested_table_alloc() here.
The number of elements in a page of "union nested_tables" is most naturally
PAGE_SIZE / sizeof(ntbl[0])
The previous code had
PAGE_SIZE / sizeof(ntbl[0].bucket)
which happens to be the correct value only because the bucket uses all
the space in the union.

rhashtable: remove nulls_base and related code.
This "feature" is unused, undocumented, and untested and so doesn't
really belong. A patch is under development to properly implement
support for detecting when a search gets diverted down a different
chain, which the common purpose of nulls markers.
This patch actually fixes a bug too. The table resizing allows a
table to grow to 2^31 buckets, but the hash is truncated to 27 bits -
any growth beyond 2^27 is wasteful an ineffective.
This patch results in NULLS_MARKER(0) being used for all chains,
and leaves the use of rht_is_a_null() to test for it.

rhashtable: split rhashtable.h
Due to the use of rhashtables in net namespaces,
rhashtable.h is included in lots of the kernel,
so a small changes can required a large recompilation.
This makes development painful.
This patch splits out rhashtable-types.h which just includes
the major type declarations, and does not include (non-trivial)
inline code. rhashtable.h is no longer included by anything
in the include/ directory.
Common include files only include rhashtable-types.h so a large
recompilation is only triggered when that changes.

VSOCK: fix loopback on big-endian systems
The dst_cid and src_cid are 64 bits, therefore 64 bit accessors should be
used, and in fact in virtio_transport_common.c only 64 bit accessors are
used. Using 32 bit accessors for 64 bit values breaks big endian systems.
This patch fixes a wrong use of le32_to_cpu in virtio_transport_send_pkt.

xen-netfront: Update features after registering netdev
Update the features after calling register_netdev() otherwise the
device features are not set up correctly and it not possible to change
the MTU of the device. After this change, the features reported by
ethtool match the device's features before the commit which introduced
the issue and it is possible to change the device's MTU.

cls_flower: fix use after free in flower S/W path
If flower filter is created without the skip_sw flag, fl_mask_put()
can race with fl_classify() and we can destroy the mask rhashtable
while a lookup operation is accessing it.
Fix the above waiting for a RCU grace period before destroying the
rhashtable: we need to use tcf_queue_work(), as rhashtable_destroy()
must run in process context, as pointed out by Cong Wang.

When delta passed to gem_ptp_adjtime is negative, the sign is
maintained in the ns_to_timespec64 conversion. Hence timespec_add

ipvlan: fix IFLA_MTU ignored on NEWLINK
Commit 296d48568042 ("ipvlan: inherit MTU from master device") adjusted
the mtu from the master device when creating a ipvlan device, but it
would also override the mtu value set in rtnl_create_link. It causes
IFLA_MTU param not to take effect.
So this patch is to not adjust the mtu if IFLA_MTU param is set when
creating a ipvlan device.

Currently it is incrementing SctpFragUsrMsgs when the user message size
is of the exactly same size as the maximum fragment size, which is wrong.
The fix is to increment it only when user message is bigger than the
maximum fragment size.

net: mscc: fix the injection header
When injecting frames in the Ocelot switch driver an injection header
(IFH) should be used to configure various parameters related to a given
frame, such as the port onto which the frame should be departed or its
vlan id. Other parameters in the switch configuration can led to an
injected frame being sent without an IFH but this led to various issues
as the per-frame parameters are then not used. This is especially true
when using multiple ports for injection.
The IFH was injected with the wrong endianness which led to the switch
not taking it into account as the IFH_INJ_BYPASS bit was then unset.
(The bit tells the switch to use the IFH over its internal
configuration). This patch fixes it.
In addition to the endianness fix, the IFH is also fixed. As it was
(unwillingly) unused, some of its fields were not configured the right
way.

strparser: Don't schedule in workqueue in paused state
In function strp_data_ready(), it is useless to call queue_work if
the state of strparser is already paused. The state checking should
be done before calling queue_work. The change reduces the context
switches and improves the ktls-rx throughput by approx 20% (measured
on cortex-a53 based platform).

HID: wacom: Correct logical maximum Y for 2nd-gen Intuos Pro large
The HID descriptor for the 2nd-gen Intuos Pro large (PTH-860) contains
a typo which defines an incorrect logical maximum Y value. This causes
a small portion of the bottom of the tablet to become unusable (both
because the area is below the "bottom" of the tablet and because
'wacom_wac_event' ignores out-of-range values). It also results in a
skewed aspect ratio.
To fix this, we add a quirk to 'wacom_usage_mapping' which overwrites
the data with the correct value.

HID: intel_ish-hid: ipc: register more pm callbacks to support hibernation
Current ISH driver only registers suspend/resume PM callbacks which don't
support hibernation (suspend to disk). Basically after hiberation, the ISH
can't resume properly and user may not see sensor events (for example: screen
rotation may not work).
User will not see a crash or panic or anything except the following message
in log:
hid-sensor-hub 001F:8086:22D8.0001: timeout waiting for response from ISHTP device
So this patch adds support for S4/hiberbation to ISH by using the
SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() MACRO instead of struct dev_pm_ops directly. The suspend
and resume functions will now be used for both suspend to RAM and hibernation.
If power management is disabled, SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS will do nothing, the suspend
and resume related functions won't be used, so mark them as __maybe_unused to
clarify that this is the intended behavior, and remove #ifdefs for power
management.
HID: steam: use hid_device.driver_data instead of hid_set_drvdata()
When creating the low-level hidraw device, the reference to steam_device
was stored using hid_set_drvdata(). But this value is not guaranteed to
be kept when set before calling probe. If this pointer is reset, it
crashes when opening the emulated hidraw device.
It looks like hid_set_drvdata() is for users "avobe" this hid_device,
while hid_device.driver_data it for users "below" this one.
In this case, we are creating a virtual hidraw device, so we must use
hid_device.driver_data.

proc: fix missing final NUL in get_mm_cmdline() rewrite
The rewrite of the cmdline fetching missed the fact that we used to also
return the final terminating NUL character of the last argument. I
hadn't noticed, and none of the tools I tested cared, but something
obviously must care, because Michal Kubecek noticed the change in
behavior.
Tweak the "find the end" logic to actually include the NUL character,
and once past the eend of argv, always start the strnlen() at the
expected (original) argument end.
This whole "allow people to rewrite their arguments in place" is a nasty
hack and requires that odd slop handling at the end of the argv array,
but it's our traditional model, so we continue to support it.

ip: limit use of gso_size to udp
The ipcm(6)_cookie field gso_size is set only in the udp path. The ip
layer copies this to cork only if sk_type is SOCK_DGRAM. This check
proved too permissive. Ping and l2tp sockets have the same type.
Limit to sockets of type SOCK_DGRAM and protocol IPPROTO_UDP to
exclude ping sockets.

net: stmmac: socfpga: add additional ocp reset line for Stratix10
The Stratix10 platform has an additional reset line, OCP(Open Core Protocol),
that also needs to get deasserted for the stmmac ethernet controller to work.
Thus we need to update the Kconfig to include ARCH_STRATIX10 in order to build
dwmac-socfpga.
Also, remove the redundant check for the reset controller pointer. The
reset driver already checks for the pointer and returns 0 if the pointer
is NULL.

net: sungem: fix rx checksum support
After commit 88078d98d1bb ("net: pskb_trim_rcsum() and CHECKSUM_COMPLETE
are friends"), sungem owners reported the infamous "eth0: hw csum failure"
message.
CHECKSUM_COMPLETE has in fact never worked for this driver, but this
was masked by the fact that upper stacks had to strip the FCS, and
therefore skb->ip_summed was set back to CHECKSUM_NONE before
my recent change.
Driver configures a number of bytes to skip when the chip computes
the checksum, and for some reason only half of the Ethernet header
was skipped.
Then a second problem is that we should strip the FCS by default,
unless the driver is updated to eventually support NETIF_F_RXFCS in
the future.
Finally, a driver should check if NETIF_F_RXCSUM feature is enabled
or not, so that the admin can turn off rx checksum if wanted.

Since tcfa_lock is already taken when the action is being edited, a call
to tcf_idr_release() wrongly makes tcf_idr_cleanup() take the same lock
again. On the other hand, tcf_idr_release() needs to be called in the
error path of tcf_ife_init(), to undo the last tcf_idr_create() invocation.
Fix both problems in tcf_ife_init().
Since the cleanup() routine can now be called when ife->params is NULL,
also add a NULL pointer check to avoid calling kfree_rcu(NULL, rcu).

This patch reverts commit 3243ff2a05ec ("net: ethernet: davinci_emac:
Deduplicate bus_find_device() by name matching") and adds a comment
which should stop anyone from reintroducing the same "fix" in the future.
We can't use bus_find_device_by_name() here because the device name is
not guaranteed to be 'davinci_mdio'. On some systems it can be
'davinci_mdio.0' so we need to use strncmp() against the first part of
the string to correctly match it.

In failure path, we overwrite err to what vnic_rq_disable() returns. In
case it returns 0, enic_open() returns success in case of error.

net/tcp: Fix socket lookups with SO_BINDTODEVICE
Similar to 69678bcd4d2d ("udp: fix SO_BINDTODEVICE"), TCP socket lookups
need to fail if dev_match is not true. Currently, a packet to a given port
can match a socket bound to device when it should not. In the VRF case,
this causes the lookup to hit a VRF socket and not a global socket
resulting in a response trying to go through the VRF when it should not.

The array bpq_eth_addr is only used to get the size of an
address, whereas the bcast_addr is used to set the broadcast
address. This leads to a warning when using clang:

lockdep spotted that we are using rfs_h.lock in enic_get_rxnfc() without
initializing. rfs_h.lock is initialized in enic_open(). But ethtool_ops

net/ncsi: Use netdev_dbg for debug messages
This moves all of the netdev_printk(KERN_DEBUG, ...) messages over to
netdev_dbg.
As Joe explains:

debug eg. misbehaving network device firmware, but we do not need them

bpf, xdp, i40e: fix i40e_build_skb skb reserve and truesize
Using skb_reserve(skb, I40E_SKB_PAD + (xdp->data - xdp->data_hard_start))
is clearly wrong since I40E_SKB_PAD already points to the offset where
the original xdp->data was sitting since xdp->data_hard_start is defined
as xdp->data - i40e_rx_offset(rx_ring) where latter offsets to I40E_SKB_PAD
when build skb is used.
However, also before cc5b114dcf98 ("bpf, i40e: add meta data support")
this seems broken since bpf_xdp_adjust_head() helper could have been used
to alter headroom and enlarge / shrink the frame and with that the assumption
that the xdp->data remains unchanged does not hold and would push a bogus
packet to upper stack.
ixgbe got this right in 924708081629 ("ixgbe: add XDP support for pass and
drop actions"). In any case, fix it by removing the I40E_SKB_PAD from both
skb_reserve() and truesize calculation.

qed: Do not advertise DCBX_LLD_MANAGED capability.
Do not advertise DCBX_LLD_MANAGED capability i.e., do not allow
external agent to manage the dcbx/lldp negotiation. MFW acts as lldp agent
for qed* devices, and no other lldp agent is allowed to coexist with mfw.
Also updated a debug print, to not to display the redundant info.

Avoid calling a SIMD fastpath handler if it is NULL. The check is needed
to handle an unlikely scenario where unsolicited interrupt is destined to
a PF in INTa mode.

qed: Fix possible memory leak in Rx error path handling.
Memory for packet buffers need to be freed in the error paths as there is
no consumer (e.g., upper layer) for such packets and that memory will never
get freed.
The issue was uncovered when port was attacked with flood of isatap
packets, these are multicast packets hence were directed at all the PFs.
For foce PF, this meant they were routed to the ll2 module which in turn
drops such packets.
